As Executive Vice President, Dave oversees business development, manages Rivel's global revenue strategy, and leads consulting for the company's Governance and Sustainability division. With over 25 years of experience, Dave advises public companies on corporate governance, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies, and stakeholder engagement. Dave has a history of aligning business development efforts with market trends and investor priorities to drive revenue growth.
He has been at the forefront of analyzing investor perceptions, proxy issues, and sustainability matters, advising boards and management teams on optimizing stakeholder engagement, corporate disclosure, and governance frameworks. His expertise includes leveraging frameworks like SASB/IFRS, TCFD, GRI, SDGs, and other industry-specific standards to help organizations communicate and achieve sustainable growth and meet growing stakeholder and global regulatory demands such as CSRD.
Throughout his career, Dave has managed complex engagements, including corporate actions, annual and special meetings, and high-profile proxy campaigns. He collaborates with directors and counsel to design and execute tailored board evaluations that assess alignment on strategy, risk management, and corporate culture.
Before joining Rivel, Dave held senior leadership roles at firms such as Georgeson, Laurel Hill Advisory Group, AST Phoenix Advisors, and Argyle. He was the founder of Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability division. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dave serves on the advisory board for the School of Arts and Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology. He is a certified professional coach and former Olympic Development soccer coach. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing and coaching soccer, and a host of other sporting and outdoor activities.
Dave holds a BA in English from the New York Institute of Technology.
