A creator and protector of culture, Brian sets and drives Rivel’s strategy, working to develop and maintain partnerships, company image and messaging. He also acts as Chief Growth Officer and mentor. Brian became President of Rivel in 2000, and since 2019 has served as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He has provided insight to over 100 boards and management teams on message positioning and is a frequent presenter on how organizations can maximize value by using research to build competitive advantage.
Brian has authored dozens of articles in industry publications and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal on several occasions, as well as in IR Magazine, Institutional Investor, Q4 and others. Prior to joining Rivel, Brian worked on the NFL Today show at CBS Sports in New York.
He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three daughters. An ardent sports fan, he is active on the basketball court and roots for the Knicks, Mets and Dolphins. Fun fact: Brian was a winning contestant on Wheel of Fortune.
Brian is on the board of advisors for Jumpstart.
He earned a BS in Finance from Boston University.
Gene has been with Rivel since 2000 and now manages the overall growth of company. While with Rivel, Gene helped to create Rivel’s renowned IR best practices program called GuideLign while overseeing approximately 800 investor perception studies and advising senior management teams and boards on strategic investor communications. Gene is also a frequent presenter and panelist at global investor relations meetings and conferences.
Prior to joining Rivel, Gene spent eight years brokering on Wall Street.
Much of Gene’s free time is devoted to School of Rock activities and his son’s rock & roll band, King Falcon.
He earned a BA in International Business from Hofstra University.
Mike is involved in all facets of executive management at Rivel, including strategy and business development, finance and budgeting, HR, legal, marketing and, most importantly, operations. Mike has been instrumental to the successful launches of several new businesses throughout Rivel’s history and in implementing processes that allow the company to continue to meet its high standards for quality and performance. He also designed and launched Rivel’s mentorship program.
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and loves traveling, reading and outdoor activities, especially at his family’s favorite summer getaway in Bar Harbor, Maine. When he’s not rooting on the Mets or Giants, you can often find him at an amusement park with his family or attending a concert to see one of his favorite bands. Mike is a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor.
He earned a BS in Marketing and Management from New York University, Stern School of Business.
Theresa works on financial planning and analysis, joint ventures/partnerships, and enhancing the use of IT to improve efficiency and quality throughout the organization. In addition, she negotiates legal contracts and ensures the firm is in compliance with various global regulatory frameworks.
In between tenures at Rivel, she worked in the hedge fund space, building extensive management, investor relations, technology and operational experience. She is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager designations.
Theresa enjoys listening to live music, travelling, hiking, and sailing. She plays both the electric guitar and bass. She also enjoys yoga and meditation, and likes to read science fiction.
She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University.
Barbara came to Rivel in 2000 after spending 14 years in retail marketing and operations and several years as an elementary school teacher. She oversees all aspects of Rivel’s marketing, strategy and branding across all company divisions.
She is also the lead organizer for Rivel’s GuideLign Conferences and all global investor relations events.
Additionally, Barbara works closely with Brian Rivel and Dave Bobker to grow and train the consulting and marketing teams. She mentors colleagues in other departments to help them grow within the company by sharing her 24+ years of experience at Rivel.
Barbara loves spending time with family (including her dog Benny), cooking, and vacationing on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
She earned a BA in History and a BS in Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
As Senior Managing Director of Corporate Services, Dave oversees business development and the TrendLign, StoryLign, GuideLign and Governance and Sustainability divisions globally.
For 25 years, Dave has provided corporate governance, sustainability and strategic advisory services to hundreds of public companies. Dave has been on the forefront of analyzing investor perceptions, proxy issues and ESG matters. He is a recognized industry expert in the areas of corporate governance, ESG/sustainability, stakeholder engagement and disclosure.
Dave advises management teams and boards on all corporate governance, ESG, stakeholder engagement and disclosure matters. He is experienced and trained in all aspects of ESG, including SASB, TCFD, SDGs, GRI, and industry specific reporting standards and frameworks. Dave works closely with clients to address a variety of situations including corporate actions, annual and special meetings. He has organized and led dozens of high-profile proxy and multi-stakeholder engagements. Dave consults with directors and counsel for the development and execution of custom board evaluations, including assessing the alignment of views on strategy, ERM and corporate culture.
Dave is a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Alliance member and is active in the Society for Corporate Governance, National Investor Relations Institute and the National Association of Corporate Directors. He regularly presents at local, regional and national events for these and many other organizations.
Prior to joining Rivel, Dave held roles as Vice President at Georgeson, Senior Vice President at Laurel Hill Advisory Group, Senior Vice President at AST Phoenix Advisors, and Advisory Director at Argyle. Dave was previously the Managing Director of Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability division.
Dave is on the advisory board for the School of Arts and Sciences at New York Institute of Technology. He is a professional certified and licensed coach and former Olympic Development coach. He enjoys spending his free time with family, playing soccer, and is a lifelong practitioner of martial arts.
He earned a BA in English from the New York Institute of Technology.
As head of research, Jim oversees all studies completed by Rivel and their analyses. He was instrumental in the establishment and guidance of Rivel through its early years and fundamental in the development of Rivel’s research methodologies and analytic approach, culture and code of integrity. He has and continues to play a key role in mentoring both consultant and operational staff in both analysis and communication of client recommendations and authors many of the company’s white papers, strategic briefings and articles in the business media. Prior to joining Rivel, Jim spent more than 10 years at the pioneering marketing and social research firm, Yankelovich, Skelly and White where his bond with Art Rivel was forged, leading ultimately to their future close collaboration.
Jim uses his free time for travel, sports, getting together with family and in pursuit of his love of history and politics. Some of his favorite reads include “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” by Dee Brown, “Team of Rivals” by Doris Goodwin and “The Sun Also Rises” by Ernest Hemmingway.
He graduated magna cum laude with a BA in History and Political Science from Tufts University, and earned his MA in International Affairs and Business from George Washington University.
To grow and improve the company’s research offerings, Reid works closely with IR professionals, CEOs and CFOs, helping them identify new opportunities to differentiate their investment stories to positively impact valuation, attract new investors and increase investments from current shareholders. Reid has advised a cross-section of US companies from some of the world’s largest and most respected organizations, as well as mid- and small-cap companies.
His experience spans various industries, including consumer products, biotech, transportation, technology and others. He is regularly asked to present at NIRI regional chapter meetings on topics such as guidance, earnings calls, IR best practices and investor days.
Prior to joining Rivel, Reid worked with Gartner Group, where he managed major relationships with a variety of top-ranked Wall Street investment banks. He also spent time with Guideline, where he led business development efforts across a variety of industry sectors.
Reid spends as much of his time as possible with his wife Alison, and their children, either in Boston, NYC or Nashville.
He earned a BS in Business Administration from Clemson University.
Chris leads Rivel's Creative Studio, a team of highly acclaimed graphic designers and coordinators that provides clients with best-in-class solutions for their design needs. He also manages the visual aspects of the Rivel brand, client deliverables and marketing materials.
In 2019, Chris invented the slide design methodology when Sandi Meeks and he founded Rivel's StoryLign segment, focusing on investor slide decks. Combining his 25 years of executive writing experience with his design capabilities, StoryLign slides are best practice in the industry.
Chris has spearheaded the creation of a corporate design arm at Rivel that touches each segment of services provided. His outside of the box thinking, encouragement of collaboration and execution have made him instrumental in Rivel's growth over the past two decades. Chris acts as a primary content creator in writing executive reports, creating new deliverables, analyzing trends in investor community research, and shaping Rivel's message and five-star brand.
His past positions include: Research Analyst, Project Director, Director of Corporate Communications, and Creative Director.
An avid photographer, Chris enjoys traveling and having local adventures while hiking or biking.
Chris graduated with a BA in Psychology from Dickinson College.
Jenn Peterson is the Chief Research Officer at Rivel, where she is responsible for coordinating and driving the company’s research initiatives forward.
Having dedicated the majority of her career to Rivel, Jenn joined the company as a Research Analyst and has since held key positions, including Project Director and Managing Director of Rivel’s perception study business. Her deep understanding of the organization's research landscape, the investment community and commitment to delivering high-quality results led to her appointment as Chief Research Officer in 2023.
Jenn graduated magna cum laude from Southern Connecticut State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. This foundation in effective communication has been instrumental in her ability to convey complex research findings in a clear and compelling manner.
Mary Anne leads Rivel’s human capital management. She works to align the firm’s HR practices with its business goals, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture and overseeing all aspects of talent management. In addition to managing the HR staff, she develops and implements HR strategies that support the firm's growth objectives as well as enhance employee engagement and recognition.
Mary Anne has built 20 years of human resources expertise, with additional experience in sales and customer service. Prior to joining Rivel, she served in various HR leadership roles in the financial, insurance, event technology and manufacturing industries.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, rooting for her New York Rangers and traveling.
Mary Anne completed her bachelor’s in management from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell — graduating magna cum laude. She also holds both SPHR and SHRM- SCP certifications.
Nicole is Managing Director of Rivel’s StoryLign division, where she leads a team of senior IROs and an in-house Design studio. Nicole is responsible for ensuring the StoryLign team delivers consistent best-in-class investor communications support, strategic advice, and tactical input to its wide range of global corporate clients. She works closely with companies to help drive valuation by addressing gaps in their equity story and helps them craft compelling messages around their investment thesis.
Nicole has over 25 years equity capital markets experience, having started her career in Private Equity at Merril Lynch. Prior to joining Rivel and building out the StoryLign team, Nicole spent ten years at Hoare Govett advising several FTSE large cap companies on Reg FD and listing regulations, as well as investor engagement activity and financial communications. She then moved in-house, working as a senior IRO at six companies.
Nicole’s background includes working with different management teams on over 50 investor days, advising small to large cap companies, and sector experience in Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Consumer Staples, Real Estate, and Biotech firms.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with First Class Honours in Business Economics and Management, as well as an MBA with Merit from the University of Leeds.
Limor leads the Governance and Sustainability division, where she is responsible for the development and execution of Rivel’s Corporate Governance Intelligence Council, Corporate Responsibility Advisory (ESG) and Board Evaluation services on both a national and international level.
Limor’s wealth of experience and practical expertise help strengthen the strategic value-add Rivel offers clients in corporate governance and sustainability. Limor advises clients on matters such as stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments and SEC disclosure. She provides guidance and support for clients in creating custom, focused and strategically relevant corporate ESG/sustainability reporting. Limor is admitted to the Massachusetts and New York Bars and is a former member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Financials Sector Standards Advisory Group.
Prior to joining Rivel, Limor was senior vice president and assistant general counsel, head of corporate environmental and social governance at Regions Bank. Prior to Regions, she was a senior ESG analyst at Calvert Research and Management, the head of U.S. ESG research at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In her free time, Limor enjoys spending time with her husband and young children, spending summer days at the beach and traveling.
She graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a BA in environmental studies from Brandeis University and has earned a JD in environmental law from the University of Maryland School of Law and an MS in sustainability management from Columbia University.
Corey oversees all sales, marketing, research, and operational functions within the Rivel Banking Research team which conducts primary research on U.S. banking customers. Ultimately, the research analysis informs clients on their market position, identifies areas for growth and opportunity, and monitors their overall impact on their customers and community.
Prior to joining Rivel, Corey was the inaugural Director of Institutional Research at Choate Rosemary Hall, building the office to support data-informed decision making that supported student success, enrollment targets, and endowment growth. His background includes additional positions at universities, colleges, and consulting groups within Enrollment Management, focusing on market survey insight and predictive modeling.
In his free time, Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and young children, staying active outdoors, traveling, and eating well.
He earned an MPA from the University of Connecticut along with a graduate certificate in project management from Cornell University.
Mark Boyland, serving as SVP of Legal and Compliance at Rivel, oversees all legal and compliance matters as the sole in-house counsel. With a rich background, he brings extensive experience as a General Counsel and Head of Compliance for five prior companies, including roles as a global law firm member and a Department of Justice prosecutor.
Mark contributes to industry education, teaching at Seton Hall, Fordham, and George Washington University law schools. He has spoken at events for ACC, Cornell, and the ABA, and serves as a mentor in various capacities, including for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Mark currently holds leadership roles in several organizations, including the Board of Directors for the Education Industry Association, Rise Up! To Cure Paralysis, and the American Coatings Association.
In his free time, Mark actively engages in saltwater activities such as boating, deep-sea fishing, surfing, and paddleboarding. Additionally, he enjoys playing guitar and piano as an amateur musician.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor (JD) with Honors from George Washington University.

Her 35+ year career includes over 20 years in investor relations and strategic communications, along with 15 years in investment banking.
Prior to joining Rivel, Cindi led investor relations for five publicly traded companies including Take-Two Interactive Software, Cablevision and Scientific Games, and also headed corporate communications in several of her roles. She brings extensive experience to clients seeking to improve their messaging, expand buy-side ownership and sell-side coverage, and develop and execute IR strategy. Additionally, she is adept at helping companies successfully navigate M&A and other financial transactions, as well as critical business challenges including proxy contests, shareholder activism, corporate crises, and leadership transition.
Outside of work, Cindi and her husband enjoy cooking, visiting wine regions, boardwalk strolls, and listening to audio books. Dedicated to her community, she serves on two boards, including the Turtle Bay Association, a non-profit community organization in Manhattan. She is also an active member of the NIRI New York chapter, where she served on the Board for four years and was honored as Chapter Volunteer of the Year in 2022.
Cindi holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance and Accounting from Drexel University, where she graduated Valedictorian.

Laura brings 25+ years of experience building, leading and implementing award-winning investor relations and corporate strategies for Fortune 500, Russell 2000 companies, private companies and boards.
She joins Rivel after founding and running her own IR Advisory firm, High Touch Investor Relations, which provided high level financial communications and strategic analysis for international and domestic clients including Ubiquiti Inc., World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., Harry Winston Diamond Corporation and others.
Laura is an advocate for the Arts, including her longtime involvement with the New York City Ballet. As a career professional and mother, she is passionate about mentoring youth and promoting the advancement of women and girls through her involvement in several charities with a focus on financial literacy. In her free time, Laura enjoys being with her daughters, Janie and Molly, and husband, Jamie.
Laura is a Stern Scholar and earned an MBA in finance and strategic marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business. She earned her BS in accounting from Ithaca College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Investor Relations Charter designation. Laura also completed Harvard Business School's Executive Education program titled “Women on Boards: Succeeding as a Corporate Director” in 2018 and Columbia University’s Venture Capital and Private Equity mini-MBA in 2023.
Alon works to grow and develop Rivel’s research offerings by cultivating new business with both existing and prospective clients. He works with companies across varying industries (including consumer products, technology and more), cap sizes and geographies.
A critical piece of his work involves analyzing perception study results, providing insights that help management teams fully understand research findings, and recommending key action steps and best practices. Alon has a multi-decade background on the buy-side, sell-side and investor relations, and draws on this experience to provide the most benefit to Rivel’s clients.
Alon is regularly invited to present on asset manager perception studies at industry groups, including NIRI and Institutional Investors’ Senior Delegates Roundtable, as well as before client conferences, investor groups, C-suites and Boards of Directors.
Prior to joining Rivel, he worked for a digital IR firm that pioneered the leveraging of social media to evangelize the investment stories of its small-cap corporate company clients.
Alon is an avid tennis player and skier. His favorite time spent is with his wife and three daughters.
He earned a BA in Philosophy from Hobart College.

Moriah’s goal is to maximize IR program effectiveness for companies across all locations, industries and market caps.
Moriah has more than 25 years of business and legal experience including more than 20 years in investor relations. She previously served as senior vice president at Financial Profiles, a boutique strategic communications firm, where she directed strategic investor relations programs for multiple client accounts across a range of industries, with a focus on technology. Her experience runs the gamut from investor targeting and outreach, to financial analysis and valuation, to earnings presentations, website development and tactical IR program execution.
Outside of work, Moriah enjoys biking, cross-country skiing and hiking near her home in Tahoe, Calif. She likes to travel abroad and is an avid reader who is especially fond of science fiction.
Moriah graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in sociology. She completed financial and accounting coursework at University of California Extension and is active with NIRI — currently the advocacy ambassador for the San Francisco chapter. She is a NIRI Fellow and had the honor of serving as the chair of the 2022 NIRI Annual Conference.
As a solutions specialist for TrendLign perception studies, Jennifer provides guidance to Rivel’s clients in support of critical decision making, planning and strategy. She works one-on-one with IROs, management teams and the board to interpret study results and develop action steps that achieve maximum impact.
A seasoned executive, Jennifer brings over 26 years of investor relations experience. She served as vice president of IR at industry giants including ExxonMobil, Caterpillar, DuPont, Campbell Soup and Best Buy. Her diverse expertise includes navigating mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, CEO and CFO transitions, earnings beats and misses, lawsuits, investor days and various shareholder proposals. She excels at understanding the perceptions and expectations of the buy-side and sell-side, and instilling best practices to inspire confidence in management teams.
Outside of work, Jennifer participates in her church choir, is a master gardener and enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children.
Jennifer graduated as a National Merit Scholar and 10th in her class from the University of St. Catherine with a B.A. in English. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Jennifer holds an Investor Relations Charter (IRC) designation and actively contributes to NIRI. She served on the national board from 2019 to 2021, was named a NIRI fellow in 2023 and has presented at multiple NIRI chapter events. Jennifer has held leadership positions in the NIRI Philadelphia and NIRI Twin Cities chapters and currently mentors two NIRI representatives. She contributed content to the NIRI Book of Knowledge, set to be published this fall.
With a focus on strategic collaboration, Tom works closely with IR professionals, management teams, and boards to help them identify new opportunities that differentiate their investment story to positively impact valuation, attract new investors, and increase investment from existing shareholders. Tom has advised a cross-section of US and International companies spanning all market caps and sectors.
Drawing from his past experience on the buy-side, Tom provides invaluable insight that empowers companies to communicate more effectively and optimize their valuation through investor relations best-practice methods. Prior to his tenure at Rivel, Tom worked at Emigrant Bank, where he was responsible for the daily trading operations, managing liquidity and strategically investing in both fixed income securities and co-investment opportunities. Additionally, he oversaw the day-to-day management of the Bank's short-term municipal auction rate portfolio.
Tom's passion for exploration extends beyond the professional realm. He is an avid traveler, golf enthusiast, and fashion photographer. During his leisure time, Tom immerses himself in the vibrant cultures of different countries alongside his wife.
He graduated with a BA in Economics (Mathematics - minor) from Villanova University.
Chris drives the growth of Rivel's research offerings, specializing in TrendLign, GuideLign, Governance & Sustainability, and StoryLign. With a focus on building lasting client relationships, he provides strategic guidance to a diverse portfolio of U.S. companies across industries and market caps. Leveraging his expertise and interpersonal skills, Chris offers tailored solutions and valuable insights to address client needs and challenges.
Before joining Rivel, Chris held a position with a technology infrastructure mid-cap, where he managed a Private Equity Sponsor exit post re-IPO, orchestrated an Investor Day at NASDAQ, and significantly increased sell-side coverage. Beyond IR, Chris has experience in finance, data analysis, and management consulting, advising on profitable growth and strategic alignment.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys reading spy and murder mystery novels, supporting his daughters' equestrian and cheer competitions, and traveling in his camper with his two border collie/husky mixes.
Chris holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
Sean drives the growth of Rivel's research offerings, with a focus on the TrendLign, GuideLign and StoryLign businesses. Concentrating primarily on cultivating and broadening long-term relationships with clients and prospects, his dynamic interpersonal communication skills and crucial knowledge of the IR service world give him a unique understanding of client needs and position him well to provide them with customized solutions, valuable data insight and consult on best practices for strategic company messaging. He works closely with IR professionals and managements teams of companies across various industries, cap sizes and geographies.
Sean is also actively involved in the preparation and execution of the GuideLign annual conference. In addition, he is frequently invited to speak at various industry and IR conferences locally in New York, and at regional or national events across the country.
Prior to joining Rivel, Sean was a wealth planning analyst at UBS, working alongside financial advisors to integrate financial planning into their everyday business practices and drive wealth management revenue through the planning process. Before entering the business world, Sean coached college basketball at Texas Tech and Central Connecticut State.
Sean loves spending time with his family, hanging out with friends, and playing basketball. He also enjoys puzzles and board games, and especially playing card games or Sudoku with his kids.
He graduated with a BA in Psychology from the College of William and Mary.
Sandi brings over 20 years of Investor Relations and Finance experience helping clients identify solutions to enhance their IR practices. Sandi's previous experience as an IRO at a Fortune 500 company has given her the insight to the challenges that companies face with communicating to investors and creating best-in-class IR programs.
Sandi works closely with IR professionals, CEOs and CFOs, helping them identify new opportunities to differentiate their investment stories to positively impact valuation, attract new investors and increase investments from current shareholders. Sandi has advised a cross-section of both US and global companies from some of the world’s largest and most respected organizations, as well as mid- and small-cap companies.
Prior to her current role, Sandi was responsible for the creation and execution of Rivel's StoryLign division, which helps companies develop best-in-class investor communications. StoryLign works with companies worldwide of all sizes and industries to drive value by crafting a compelling investor story. Sandi developed a unique and thorough process that uncovers and addresses investor knowledge gaps. Using the art of storytelling, the team produces customized presentations that are strategic and actionable.
Prior to joining Rivel, Sandi was the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Regions Financial (Fortune 500) for almost nine years, where she helped build a best-in-class IR program, managed investor days and created extensive external and internal financial messaging platforms. Prior to her investor relations career, Sandi managed the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting program and has a deep understanding of internal financial communications. Sandi began her career in the retail industry working for two publicly traded companies in various finance positions.
She earned a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Auburn University.
Sandi likes to learn about new places and cultures, and subsequently spends her free time travelling with her family and friends.

John started his career in finance and has over 25 years of experience in investor relations. He has led IR teams at various companies and advised diverse clients at IR-related firms.

Rafael focuses on enhancing understanding and awareness of corporate strategy by facilitating communications between current and prospective investors, senior leadership teams and the broader financial community.
Rafael drives the growth of Rivel's TrendLign, GuideLign, Governance and Sustainability, and StoryLign businesses in Latin America. He collaborates with Rivel cross-functional teams to advise LATAM clients across a range of market caps and sectors, helping them understand and address challenges and opportunities in their relationships with the investment community.
Rafael has more than two decades of equity capital markets experience as a Senior Institutional Equity Sales Executive for Latin America at Morgan Stanley, Banco Santander and Credicorp Capital. He was instrumental in executing primary and secondary equity transactions ranging from small private placements to multibillion-dollar deals in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. Before joining Rivel, Rafael worked on the investor relations/capital markets team for Canadian Metals.
Outside of work, Rafael enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and attending sporting and music events.
Rafael holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in international relations from the University of California, Davis.
Chris works closely with TrendLign project directors to ensure the timely and accurate completion of client deliverables. Prior to joining Rivel, Chris worked in the disaster recovery field for the state of Texas following Hurricane Harvey.

Lars Battle

In his role as Copywriter, Lars closely collaborates with Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability team, crafting compelling narratives that articulate client sustainability journeys. He effectively synthesizes and simplifies data, adhering to diverse brand standards and voices while catering to target audiences.
Prior to joining Rivel, Lars served as the Senior Director of Thought Leadership at CAF America, where he communicated trends in cross-border philanthropy. Before that, he served as the Senior Editorial Coordinator at PYXERA Global, overseeing a publication focused on tri-sector partnerships that addressed global challenges.
Outside of work, Lars enjoys spending quality time with his partner and their cat, as well as outdoor exploration through hiking, cycling and travel.
Lars holds a BA in Economics from Carleton College and an MNR in Natural Resources Management from Virginia Tech. He also received the Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) designation from The Society for Diversity.
Dailey consults with bank and credit union leadership, drawing from Customer and Prospect Benchmark report data to help bank executives assess, tailor and track their marketing, customer retention and branch expansion strategies.
Prior to joining Rivel, Dailey spent multiple years working at Gartner in technology consulting as an account executive partnering with C-Level executives to help drive their top business initiatives such as digital transformation, IT strategy and data security. She also worked as an account executive in the software industry with a focus on 1:1 customer engagement, customer service, and intelligent automation.
In her free time, Dailey likes to travel, try new restaurants, bake, and listen to/watch true crime podcasts and documentaries. She loves the art of interior design and enjoys carefully planning the spaces in her home.
She graduated with a BS in Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University.
As an associate director, Genevieve is instrumental in providing ESG consultancy to Rivel clients. Specializing in governance and sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with global regulations and investor expectations, Genevieve ensures clients navigate the complex landscape effectively.
Bringing a wealth of experience, Genevieve previously served as Senior Consultant, Corporate Governance and ESG at Aon. Her role involved analyzing global reporting trends and regulations, institutional investor pressures and proxy advisor expectations. Prior to Aon, she served as Program Manager of the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute at LeBow College of Business, focusing on forward-looking governance themes.
Outside of work, she resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with her dogs, Bug and Roo, and enjoys spending summer weekends at the Jersey shore. A biking enthusiast, she indulges in various biking activities, including road biking and teaching spin classes at a local studio.
Genevieve holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Pennsylvania State University.
Matt oversees study projects for the TrendLign business throughout their entire lifecycle, working closely with consultants and field management. He provides clients with actionable intelligence to help them make strategic decisions. Prior to Joining Rivel, he worked for 12 years at Verbatim Advisory Group, where he used telephonic survey data to forecast sales and identify the key drivers of large retail and restaurant corporations.
Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and enjoys fishing, skiing and home improvement projects. He is a life-long Giants fan and has been an active volunteer firefighter since 2004.
He earned a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Vermont.
Using the StoryLign team’s established, proven process of discovering and addressing key investor knowledge gaps, Catherine works with companies of all sizes and industries to help produce customized presentations and develop best-in-class investor communications to drive value.
Catherine has eight years of diverse experience in Finance and Investor Relations. She started her career as part of the equity research team at CDPQ covering the banking sector, and later transitioned to Gildan Activewear’s corporate development team. There, she contributed to strategic planning and the creation of presentations and financial models for financial performance evaluation and investment analysis. Prior to joining Rivel, Catherine worked as a senior investor relations analyst at AtkinsRéalis, where she crafted and updated quarterly earnings presentations and press releases in close collaboration with senior management to hone messaging. In addition, Catherine supported the planning and organization of investor days, conferences, and site visits.
Catherine lives in Montreal, Canada, with her partner and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, fitness and cooking. Catherine is fluent in French and English and is currently learning Spanish.
Catherine holds a master’s degree from HEC Montréal in applied financial economics and a bachelor’s in finance from McGill University. Additionally, she is certified with an Investor Relations Charter (IRC) designation.
Briana Capuchino
Field Manager, Corporate Research

Briana is Field Manager of Rivel’s Corporate Research division. She is responsible for the fielding/interviewing phase of TrendLign and other divisional research studies. Working under the leadership of Jenn Peterson and guidance of Heidi Salem, Briana analyzes samples and ensures projects move seamlessly in the Field. She manages Rivel’s team of executive interviewers and helps with the recruitment and onboarding of new interviewers.
Prior to joining Rivel, Briana was assistant project manager for Customer Impact where she managed the in-field operations of merchandising projects. There she was responsible for recruiting and staffing projects, managing field representatives, assisting in database maintenance and final data analysis.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her cat, watch anime and play video games.
Briana holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of San Diego.
Mattison Casolaro

As Designer, Mattison works closely with both the Chief Creative Officer and StoryLign division, assisting in project design and finalization.
When not with friends and family, she loves to stay active, bake (she has a major sweet tooth) and binge watch crime shows on Netflix.
She graduated cum laude with a BA in Graphic and Interactive Design and a minor in Management on a marketing track from Moravian College.
Jessica Cervantes

Jessica assists the StoryLign creative team by conceptualizing and designing digital assets for use in marketing, client deliverables and corporate PowerPoint presentations.
Prior to joining Rivel, Jessica honed her graphic design skills primarily in the healthcare industry. Her knowledge and expertise ranges from print and package design, to digital design, motion graphic design as well as presentation design.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with family, traveling, drawing, reading manga, and managing her own art shop where she sells enamel pins, stickers, keychains, apparel, and art prints.
Jessica holds a BFA from the University of Tampa with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in Spanish.
Mario is an integral part of the GuideLign concierge team, handling all client information requests and conducting custom research on their behalf. He is also closely involved in GuideLign’s operations, managing maintenance of internal and external platforms to ensure superior client experiences. Additionally, Mario co-chairs Rivel's People and Purpose Committee to help uphold Rivel’s core values, culture and objectives.
Previously, he was on Rivel’s StoryLign team, aiding clients with projects like investor days, earnings results and conference presentations.
In his free time, Mario enjoys playing soccer, hiking and sports events, supporting the New York Jets and Tottenham Hotspur.

Laura Chan Ruiz

Laura executes design work in Rivel’s StoryLign division — which can range from producing investor day presentations, to infographics, icons and other marketing assets for the group’s clients.
Before joining the Rivel team, she held the title of senior business presentation designer for a consulting firm and was subsequently recruited as a graphic designer for an international organization based in Washington, D.C.
Laura enjoys making pottery, baking and watching cooking shows.
She graduated from the University of Costa Rica with a bachelor's degree in fine arts specializing in graphic design.
Livia consults with bank and credit union leadership, drawing from Customer and Prospect Benchmark report data to help bank executives assess, tailor and track their marketing, customer retention and branch expansion strategies.
Prior to joining Rivel she spent multiple years at Gartner working in various roles including business development, recruiting, and account management with a specific focus on mid-size enterprise clients in the Financials Services vertical; she partnered with C-level executives from banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to support their top business and IT initiatives such as digital transformations, IT strategy, CRM, and security strategy.
In her free time, she likes to explore Southwest Florida and enjoys outdoor activities such as going to the beach, boating, kayaking, craft fairs and more. Some of her other hobbies include DIY projects, playing on a local coed softball team, cooking, attending country concerts, learning calligraphy, and volunteering and fostering for Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue, which she also helps run.

Molly Chapin

Molly works closely with the G&S consultants and SME’s and is responsible for data visualization and creating governance and ESG reports for clients. This includes investor specific and multi-stakeholder focused sustainability reports, including ESG tear sheets, flyers, internal corporate communications and full sustainability reports.
Prior to joining Rivel, Molly was a freelance graphic designer for brands across the U.S., including 6th Ave Storytelling, CedarPoint Marketing and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Her primary focus was layout design, branding and web design.
In her free time, Molly enjoys producing music, traveling and continuing to develop her graphic design style through personal projects.
Molly holds a BA in interactive media design from Texas A&M University.
Christina Clemente

Christina is a Research Analyst for TrendLign. In this role, she analyzes and codes respondents survey responses, edits interview transcripts and assists project directors in the finalization of client deliverables. Previously, she held roles as a junior copywriter intern at advertising agency Milk* and as an editorial intern at Morris Media, which publishes a variety of local magazines.
Christina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also likes to listen to music and write poetry.

Delia Congram
Senior Analyst, Corporate Research

Delia assists Rivel's GuideLign with member inquiries, reporting on our weekly Rapid Action research and on-boarding new GuideLign members. Prior to joining Rivel, she spent 15 years as a research analyst in the newspaper industry, most recently for Hearst Connecticut Media Group.
Delia loves to cook and enjoys finding new international recipes to try. She travels whenever possible and is an avid reader of history. She's also passionate about animals and is a supporter of several local rescue organizations.
She graduated with a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Scott oversees the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and facilitates all banking activity. He tracks and forecasts revenue, expenses and cash flow. In addition, he manages the monthly, quarterly and annual close process. Scott also completes all the new client and vendor onboarding.
Prior to joining Rivel, Scott was the Controller at Milestone Inc. where he implemented processes and procedures and supported key decisions through financial reporting that helped grow the business 150%.
In his free time, Scott enjoys long hikes, playing guitar and writing and recording music. He also likes working on and camping in his vintage Volkswagen Bus.
He is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.S. in accounting and a minor in finance.
Aine leads Rivel Governance and Sustainability in the U.K. and Europe. She has a proven track record assisting companies with the development of their ESG strategy and reporting. She partners with clients to establish social and environmental metrics and targets, align with ESG and climate governance frameworks, assess supply chain sustainability credentials, and drive enhanced stakeholder engagement and board oversight.
Aine has extensive experience in supporting numerous public and private companies in complying with emerging ESG and specific climate-related reporting requirements throughout the U.K. and Europe. This includes expertise on the impacts and implications of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), IFRS SASB Standards, and the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Her work includes conducting climate scenario analyses, developing climate risk management frameworks and aiding companies in integrating climate considerations into their business strategy and financial planning.
Prior to joining Rivel, Aine worked as an ESG manager at Inspired Plc, where she led the ESG disclosures team. She also held roles as a clean technology consultant and policy advisor.
During her leisure time, Aine enjoys going for hikes, exploring new foods and spending quality time with her family and friends. Aine is an advocate for sustainability, volunteering as a climate-change ambassador and championing greater gender diversity within the clean-technology industry.
Aine was awarded a Master of Ocean Sciences degree with honors from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Liverpool. Her specialization focused on examining the impact of climate change on biogeochemical processes.
Madison Daughn

As a coding specialist within TrendLign, Madison quantifies open-ended verbatim comments from client research studies.
Madison is an avid reader, who enjoys being with family and friends or hanging out with her dog. Her other favorite pastimes include playing video games, listening to music and spending time outdoors.
Madison holds a BA in political science, summa cum laude, from St. Edward’s University and an MA in social sciences from The University of Chicago.
Kate is a Senior Analyst with Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability team. She assists consultants in advising clients on sustainability, corporate governance, and ESG strategies, programs, disclosures, and engagements. Kate supports the development of client presentations and reports and conducts research and analysis on governance and ESG topics, developments, policies, and best practices.
Before joining Rivel, Kate worked as an ESG Reporting, Disclosures, and Benchmarking Analyst at General Motors. In this role, she led external engagement with ESG raters such as ISS and MSCI, improving GM’s public ESG scores and collaborating with investor relations. She served as a section lead for the annual Sustainability Report, performing research on sustainability trends and benchmarking regulatory landscapes. Kate also developed corporate sustainability strategies, presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Born and raised in southern Ontario, Kate enjoys learning about health and wellness and leading an active lifestyle through yoga, weightlifting and hiking. She also loves reading, knitting and sewing.
Kate graduated top of her class from the University of Waterloo with an Honors Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and Environmental Management. She also holds a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Western Ontario.
Conor collaborates closely with the GuideLign advisory team to offer support and oversee project management for both existing and potential clients, thought leadership initiatives, and special assignments. He excels at guiding clients through various challenges such as IR best practices, investor targeting, sell-side targeting, client board reporting, IR program assessment, IR KPIs, earnings process reviews, and materials optimization.
Before joining Rivel, Conor served as an account executive and head of digital at High Touch Investor Relations, a boutique investor relations firm. There he managed multiple client projects and led others by conducting research, writing, communicating with investors and management, and developing materials. In his digital role, he enhanced the firm's social media presence and produced podcasts.
In his personal time, Conor enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking, cinema, biking and hiking. He also loves traveling across the U.S., searching for the best local cuisine.
Conor holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in media studies from Quinnipiac University and is affiliated with NIRI's New York chapter.
Nick assists the Chief Operating Officer and HR Specialist with all operational and Human Resources responsibilities including education, onboarding/recruiting, and organizing Rivel’s summer internship program.
Prior to joining Rivel, Nick was a Product Development Intern at the Estee Lauder Companies, and has also interned in pharmaceutical analytics.
Nick enjoys frequently traveling to NYC to catch Broadway shows, explore, and find the newest trending restaurants. He is also a huge reality TV fan and is especially obsessed with Big Brother and Survivor.
He graduated summa cum laude from the Binghamton University School of Management with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in Business Analytics and Marketing.
Michael is a Director within Rivel's StoryLign division, where he collaborates with companies worldwide to craft compelling investor communications.
With more than 10 years of experience in investor relations and strategic communications, Michael's background includes prominent positions at W.W. Grainger Inc., Tribune Publishing, and Rose & Co. He's also held roles in finance and operations at ABC News and Honeywell, further enriching his insights. His client portfolio spans industry giants like USAA, Harley-Davidson and DePaul University. Sector expertise includes working with clients in the Food and Beverage, Aerospace and Semiconductors industries.
Prior to his career in investor relations, Michael focused on print journalism, writing, and editing for renowned newspapers such as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Omaha World-Herald.
Outside of his career with Rivel, he is still a passionate writer and reader, with a keen interest in college football. He also actively contributes to his community by volunteering with two local organizations.
Michael holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Drake University.
Nelson directs all marketing automation and maintains Rivel's internal contact databases. He also provides logistical support to GuideLign for conference and webinar preparation, and corresponds with clients to ensure their needs are being met. Prior to joining Rivel, he worked for the Trumbull Marriott for 11 years in various roles, most recently as Rooms Operations Manager.
Nelson likes to travel, cook and spend time with his family. One of his favorite books is “Go Long!” by Jerry Rice.

Jill Gast

Jill focuses on audio recordings of interviews, creating transcripts that are integral to client studies. She also proofreads and enjoys researching a full range of topics that arise when serving clients.
Prior to joining Rivel, Jill spent 4 years transcribing interviews for insurance companies, performing research and editing.
In her free time, Jill loves to spend time with her husband and kids. The family takes to the outdoors and especially enjoy watersports — kayaking, swimming and zipping down water slides. Creative at heart, Jill’ s passions include sewing, baking and crafting.
Jill graduated with a BA in English Language and Literature from Southern New Hampshire University.
Brian is responsible for the development and overall support of Rivel’s technology strategy. He has assisted with the expansion of technology resources as the company has grown. Prior to joining Rivel, he spent four years at Save the Children, followed by one year at IBM.
He graduated with a BA in English from the University of Connecticut.
Andrew is a Director in Rivel’s StoryLign division, working with clients across all sectors, geographies, and market caps. He leads discussions with management teams and IROs to develop and implement value-added, best-in-class investor messaging strategies to drive increased investor interest and a more thorough understanding of their equity stories.
Andrew has 12+ years of communications experience in both public and private sectors. He began his career in the public sector, advising political campaigns, political action committees, and issue advocacy organizations on impactful and resonating message development. Prior to joining Rivel, Andrew served as Associate Vice President at The Edison Group, where he mainly focused on advising European life sciences companies on messaging for US-based investors. Since joining Rivel, he has helped grow the StoryLign team from two people to more than 20. Andrew has worked with more than 40 management teams to craft compelling messages for investor days and investor presentations.
Andrew lives in Westchester, NY with his wife and dog. He graduated from New York University with a BA in Politics.
Samantha is a Director within Rivel’s StoryLign division. Using StoryLign’s well-established and proven process, she works with a broad range of management teams and IROS in companies across all sectors to help them develop best-in-class investor communications, and customized presentations that are both strategic and actionable. Notably, Samantha works with companies in the Industrial, Retail, and Biotech space and provides full C-suite presentational and executive coaching.
Samantha brings over a decade of versatile experience to helping clients deliver their most compelling story. She began her career in public accounting within the audit team at BKD (now Forvis), specializing in healthcare. In 2014, she joined Cummins Inc. serving in a variety of roles including corporate and operational finance, audit, SOX compliance and investor relations. Prior to joining Rivel, she spent several years with Kroger’s investor relations team starting as an IR Analyst and eventually moving up to Head of Financial and Investor Communications.
Samantha graduated with a double major in Management and Accounting from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Business. She is a licensed CPA and holds an Investor Relations Charter (IRC) designation. She was also selected as a member of the 2023 Class of NIRI Rising Leaders Under 40.
Elizabeth Grodman

Elizabeth joined Rivel’s marketing team in 2023 under the leadership of Chief Marketing Officer, Barbara Sullivan. In her role, Elizabeth assists with social media management, event preparation and market research.
Elizabeth's experience includes serving as a marketing assistant at Benchmark Education Company, where she excelled in overseeing ad and signage development, crafting email campaigns and contributing to conference planning. Her stint as a digital intern at C&G Media Group further honed her skills in writing, social media curation and event planning.
A graduate of Connecticut College with a BA in Architectural Studies and Human Development, Elizabeth brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds joy in spending time with her rescue cat, Zara, and indulges in hobbies like hiking and outdoor adventures.
RoseAnne supports the Chief Marketing Officer with Rivel’s marketing, strategy and branding across all company divisions. She is responsible for all administrative and operational aspects for all of Rivel’s client live and virtual events, conferences and trade shows.
RoseAnne has an extensive background supporting senior-level executives for large global corporations. Prior to joining Rivel, she spent 13 years in the events industry as a project manager responsible for content marketing and management, customer care and association/partner relationships.
RoseAnne is also a musician, enjoys creating art, being outside and traveling. She is a life-long learner and an avid reader.
Taylor Hughes
Designer

As part of Rivel’s StoryLign division, Taylor assists the creative team with designing investor day presentations and other client deliverables.
Previously, she was a creative graphic artist for a plastic and merchandising company within the beverage sector.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys baking, reading comic books and finding new ways to create art.
Taylor holds a BFA from Towson University with a concentration in graphic design.
As a global consultant at Rivel, Peter leads the growth of TrendLign, GuideLign, Governance and Sustainability, and StoryLign businesses in the U.K. and Europe. He excels in managing relationships with companies and collaborates with IR and management teams to enhance communication clarity, engage effectively with stakeholders, and drive improved valuations.
Peter brings a wealth of experience, having spent seven years in the London Stock Exchange's primary markets team. In this role, he managed relationships with companies of varying sizes, sectors and markets, providing products and services to facilitate effective communication with financial markets and support their journey as listed entities.
Peter enriches his professional life with personal interests. He is an active rugby player for Rosslyn Park FC, enjoys golf and finds solace in reading and spending time with family.
He has a master’s degree (with merit) in Ancient History and Classical Culture from Swansea University, is a member of the U.K. IR Society, and holds a certification in investor relations, emphasizing his commitment to industry education and excellence.
Roel works with clients in the UK, Continental Europe and Asia. Roel brings to Rivel a strong knowledge of the IR space and wider capital markets, which enables him to better advise companies on how to enhance their messaging to the investment community and improve their valuation. He is based in Rivel’s London office.
Prior to joining Rivel, Roel spent 18 years working for AB Asesores and Natixis, based in Madrid, Paris and New York, selling European stocks to US institutional investors. He also worked at Technimetrics, an investor relations company providing databases to listed companies and the investment community. Most recently, he was employed by IR start-up Ingage to build a European client base for its corporate access platform.
Roel enjoys hiking and reading, and likes to travel in his free time. He is fluent in Dutch, English, French, Spanish, and German.
He earned an MS in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MA in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
India assists in advising clients on environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. This ranges from providing ESG education and developing internal structure and strategies, to crafting disclosures that integrate reporting standards and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts. She also supports clients with research deliverables, including presentations and reports, to inform ESG strategy and disclosure practices.
Prior to joining Rivel, India was an ESG Client Success Lead for Nasdaq OneReport where she supported clients in developing their ESG data gathering and disclosure strategy. The role also consisted of driving client onboarding and management of the OneReport platform.
India is trained and experienced in all recognizable ESG reporting standards and frameworks, and analyzing ratings agency reports and methodologies.
In addition, India was a Social Impact Fellow for Philanthropy U. There she drove market research on corporate ESG strategy needs and ESG investment initiatives.
In her personal time, India is an avid reader who takes book recommendations from any genre. She loves to cook for friends and take long trail walks with her dog.
India holds a BA in government from Dartmouth College.

He provides individualized corporate responsibility and sustainability consulting to support the implementation of genuine ESG initiatives and disclosures, helping clients navigate ESG best-practices, reporting standards, and strategic frameworks such as SASB, TCFD, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Before joining Rivel, Alex worked with the Responsible Companies section of Frank Bold in Brno, Czech Republic, where he contributed to research on the quality of corporate ESG reporting in the European Union, and supported the European Coalition for Corporate Justice in advocating for EU-level reform in corporate sustainability disclosure and human rights due diligence in global value chains.
Alex is a competitive runner, plays the ukulele, and enjoys a good cup of coffee (or two)! He also volunteers as an Advisor at Torch Leadership Academy, a nonprofit leadership development program for high school students in New Jersey. He graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Leadership in Social Enterprise and minor in German from Juniata College.
Alexzandria Jones
Design Coordinator

As part of Rivel’s Corporate Design team, Alexzandria works toward successful implementation of departmental goals through strategic planning, resource allocation and project prioritization. She acts as a liaison for the designers communicating across divisions. Alexzandria also maintains project schedules, a library of digital assets and archives of internal corporate design deliverables.
Prior to joining Rivel, Alexzandria worked with the facility services and tenant construction department at The Peterson Cos. There she aided tenants with design, permitting and construction and managed a plethora of onsite projects. Alexzandria also has a background in quality control, proofreading and establishing SOPs for optimal productivity.
In her free time, Alexzandria enjoys entertaining family and friends, crafting, interior design and attempting projects she sees on HGTV.
Alexzandria holds an associates degree from the College of Southern Maryland.
Cassandra Kasparian
Senior Writer, Corporate Research

Cassandra collaborates with team members and consultants on report messaging to draft executive summaries, including implications and recommendations. She also conducts background research, performs data analysis and data mining, and ensures division-wide adherence to Rivel’s writing style and guidelines.
Cassandra has worked as a writer, editor, researcher and web developer across a range of organizations. Prior to joining Rivel, she spent 15 years with a New York-based financial services consultancy, most recently as director of research and chief editor, writing and editing competitive and operational analyses on the retail and wholesale industries. Before that, Cassandra worked in similar functions at an environmental non-profit, a management consulting firm and a literacy research center.
In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys hiking with her dog, distance running, and watching live music, theatre and standup comedy. She’s also involved in her local community in Baltimore City, volunteering and organizing Meetup groups.
Cassandra graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in literature and journalism.
Brechin oversees study projects for the TrendLign business throughout their entire lifecycle, working closely with consultants and field management, and specifically managing field interviews, coding data and creating final presentations. Prior to Rivel, she worked for nearly three years at BLR in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where she created and implemented a companywide style guide and provided end-to-end editorial research and fact-checking operations.
Brechin enjoys hiking all over New England with her dog, Bud. She’s also into trying new vegan restaurants with friends, going to concerts to support local bands, and practicing her banjo.
She earned a BA in Linguistics from Southern Connecticut State University.
As the coding specialist within TrendLign, Ken quantifies open-ended verbatim comments from client research studies. He has been coder since 2005, working on studies ranging from blockbuster movies to hair spray to favorite birthdays.
Ken graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Film Production.
In his spare time Ken enjoys retro gaming, attending concerts and music festivals, creating art and retouching photos. He is a resident of Los Angeles.
Graham’s utilizes Salesforce to manage the CRM database through reporting, adding new companies and key contact information. He also assists on e-mail blasts.
Prior to joining Rivel, Graham worked as a Client Engagement Sales Intern at Alliant. There he composed lead and account research to assist development of new products, new services and market research. In addition, he updated client information in Salesforce.
In his spare time, Graham likes to bowl, he enjoys working out and reaching his fitness goals. Working out has led him to develop and interest in cooking, which he sees as both science and art. His favorite creation so far are his oatmeal raisin cookies.
Graham graduated from Western Connecticut University in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, cum laude.
Cynfor assists the Rivel Banking Research team in the creation of various reports and models distributed to banks, giving them insight into their public perception. He works closely with survey providers to ensure data is comprehensive and representative. Prior to joining Rivel, Cynfor worked as a paralegal in immigration law.
Cynfor enjoys playing and listening to music, and he also likes to cook.

Rachael McCally
Field Analyst, Corporate Research

Rachael McCally is an invaluable addition to Rivel’s Corporate Research Division, where she serves as a field analyst under the leadership of Jenn Peterson and guidance of Heidi Salem.
In her role as a field analyst, Rachael provides support to the field manager and team of project directors. She assists in the fielding and interviewing process for our TrendLign studies as well as other research studies. She analyzes client samples, coordinates project launches with the interviewing team and maintains our database/sample repository.
Prior to joining Rivel, Rachael worked as a project manager for the MSU Prenatal Stress Study where she interviewed participants, collected, analyzed, and maintained critical data, and implemented participation retention methods and communication strategies.
Beyond her professional career, Rachael enjoys thrifting, game nights and concerts, showcasing her passion for exploration and cultural enrichment. Rachael's cherished companions include Sammy, her loyal dog, and Frankie, her friendly feline.
Rachael’s academic achievements include an undergraduate degree where she double majored in human biology and psychology from Michigan State University.
Sara Morehouse
Transcriber and Proofreader, Corporate Research

Sara proofreads and transcribes a variety of materials. She also assists in data cleaning and other tasks as needed. Prior to joining Rivel, she spent nine years at Media Ventures, Inc., a custom media publishing company, as a researcher and later as an editor.
Reading is one of Sara’s favorite pastimes. Her favorite book is “The Martian” by Andy Weir. She’s also a writer and an accomplished amateur baker.
She earned a BA in English Literature and Communication from Lyndon State College.
Bernadette supports the executive team working closely with sales consultants to prepare for and schedule client meetings as well as other marketing-related functions. Prior to Rivel, she worked in various senior administrative roles in the financial services, recruiting, corporate retail and manufacturing industries.
In her free time, Bernadette enjoys spending time with family, home improvement projects and time spent by the beach.

Additionally, Ben worked as an equity research analyst, following companies across various sectors. His career began as a journalist on the opinion page of USA Today.
Outside the office, Ben plays tennis, participates in triathlons, and enjoys reading and coaching youth baseball. He resides outside of Philadelphia with his wife, son, and daughter.
Ben graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in the Program of Liberal Studies and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
As part of the GuideLign team, Kevin proactively reaches out to members, keeping them updated on new research and trends in investor relations. Additionally, he manages client relationships, handles custom research requests and delivers timely data-driven insights.
Prior to joining Rivel, Kevin worked at Martin Retail Group as an account coordinator, collaborating with General Motors executives on Buick and GMC advertising campaigns.

Joe Panaro

Joe oversees the coding specialists charged with parsing out the themes and reasoning emanating from rich fields of survey-generated, open-ended commentary -- the essence of the insights derived from Rivel’s investor perception studies. He also lends support in data analysis and research operations across divisions. Joe has held various positions during his time at Rivel including starting out as a Research Analyst and, later, Operations Manager.
Joe loves to spend time with his wife and their dog. A sports enthusiast and avid runner, he also spends his free time pursuing an abiding interest in history.
Joe graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Marketing and Finance and a BA in European History from the University at Albany.
Spencer supports client’s ESG and governance initiatives through bespoke research and engagement. He works with Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability consultants, advising clients on ESG education, strategy, reporting standards and regulations, and developing company policies.
Prior to joining Rivel, Spencer worked with the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Businesses, helping to produce the 2021 sustainability report aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Tippie was the only business school in the U.S. to receive recognition by the U.N. for its reporting efforts.
In his free time, Spencer enjoys non-fiction books and a host of outdoor activities including running, hiking, camping and snowboarding. He also loves to watch football and is an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Spencer holds a masters degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver and a bachelors in business administration in finance from the University of Iowa.
Lauryn supports G&S consultants in their work to advise clients on sustainability and corporate governance issues. She applied knowledge and understanding of ESG, conducts research on current practices, and analyzes reporting trends and regulations to support consulting and develop client deliverables, such as presentations and reports, that further client’s ESG strategies, initiatives and disclosures.
Prior to joining Rivel, Lauryn interned as an analyst for Governance & Accountability Inc. where she read hundreds of sustainability reports, analyzed critical ESG data disclosures, frameworks and ratings agency methodologies. She also worked on carbon accounting for global clients.
In her free time, Lauryn is an avid reader who also loves baking different varieties of bread and traveling, especially to the U.S. National Parks.
Lauryn holds a master’s in sustainability from Tufts University and a bachelor’s in chemistry with a minor in mathematics from the University of Virginia.
Melissa helps manage Rivel’s growing Rivel Banking Research division by building the Rivel brand in the banking and credit union community. In addition, she facilitates coordination of conferences and tradeshows, and works on Rivel's internal database. Prior to joining Rivel, she worked in sales operations as an integral part of the sales and marketing teams at Victorinox Swiss Army.
Melissa enjoys baking, going to the beach and spending time with her family. She loves to party plan and a good DIY project.
She graduated with a BA in Communication Studies from Pace University.
Noreen supports the executive team and sales efforts at Rivel, working closely with the sales consultants to schedule meetings and calls, coordinate travel and manage their busy calendars. Noreen has several years of administrative experience in the Fairfield County area. She has worked for companies in the custom software and hardware development, technology transfer and commercialization and corporate relocation industries.
Noreen spends her free time enjoying family and gardening. Having a passion for British shows, she loves to talk about her trips across the pond which inspired her and her husband to create their English garden.
Jackie manages the design and the creative process within the StoryLign division. She dives deep into our client’s brand, creates custom templates and presentations to fit their needs, and inspires the team to produce exceptional quality work.
Prior to joining Rivel, Jackie spent seven years at iHeartMedia Inc., leading a design team contributing to business wins for some of the nation’s largest advertisers.
In her free time, Jackie enjoys cooking, spending time at the beach or on the slopes, wine tasting, attending concerts or Broadway shows, and planning her next vacation with her husband and daughter. She loves to stay creative and designs wedding invitations, stationery and other event collateral.

Cameron works to support investor relations professionals and management teams in the U.K. and Europe, helping them enhance and effectively communicate their strategy to investors.
Cameron is responsible for driving the growth of Rivel's TrendLign, GuideLign, Governance and Sustainability, and StoryLign businesses. In this role, he leads engagements and advises a cross-section of European companies spanning all market caps and sectors. His aim is to provide the building blocks that help management teams make effective decisions, add strategic value to their business and attract new long-term investors.
Prior to joining Rivel, Cameron worked in institutional fund sales in the U.K. for 9 years with Medici Advisors – working mainly with niche, boutique investment managers. There he experienced first-hand what long-term investors look for in companies and how effective communication can give a company a critical advantage over peers.
Outside of work, Cameron likes to spend time with his family. He enjoys biking and is a big soccer fan supporting his hometown team Aberdeen.
Cameron received his master’s degree in chemical engineering with a specialty in sustainable energy from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. He also holds the CFA’s Investment Management Certificate and passed CFA Level 1.
Emily works to establish partnerships with bank and credit union leadership using customer and prospect benchmark report data to help assess, tailor and track their marketing, customer retention and expansion strategies.
Previously, Emily served as a senior account executive for Gartner focused on banking, finance and insurance. There she worked with mid-sized enterprises and their technology leaders to solve pressing challenges. She specialized in partnering with CIOs and C-level executives as a strategic partner to understand their business priorities, how technology is driving that forward — and then connected them to Gartner experts and research-based insights.
Outside of work, Emily’s favorite pastime is horseback riding. She has been riding since she was 5 and has competed in rodeos. She also has two dogs (Remi & Coco) that she enjoys taking for walks on the beach near her Florida home. Vacation planning skills and inspired Cajun cooking round out her repertoire.
Emily graduated from Louisiana State University in 2020 with a BS in management and minor in entrepreneurship. She is currently pursuing her MBA from Louisiana State University at Shreveport.
Jessica collaborates with the Chief Marketing Officer and Rivel’s consultants to create proposals, internal marketing materials and distributed research that demonstrates the value of Rivel’s solutions.
Additionally, she executes brand strengthening initiatives, maintains the company’s marketing library, manages special projects and assists with copy editing and finalizing marketing collateral.
Jessica has more than 5 years of business-to-business marketing experience, which includes everything from brand development and social media management to strategic content creation and email marketing. She was responsible for managing and maintaining brand guidelines for several companies. Jessica also worked with business development and sales teams to create product flyers, perform competitive analysis’ and bring prospects into the sales and marketing funnel.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling abroad (London is her favorite city) and spending time with her rescue pup, Murphy. She also enjoys Mexican cuisine and trying new restaurants around her hometown.
Jessica holds an associate degree in communications from Sinclair Community College where she was part of the National Honor Society. She also sits on the marketing committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami Valley and supports the Dayton-Wright chapter of Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) with their marketing needs.
As Design Coordinator, Tina works closely with Rivel’s Chief Creative Officer, overseeing project workflow and managing the company’s design database. She also works with Rivel’s StoryLign division, assisting with project overflow as needed.
Outside of work, Tina enjoys cooking and baking, especially when hosting dinner with friends and family, and spending time with her husband James. An avid reader, she is a big fan of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series.

Ellen advises companies on ESG and sustainability initiatives, disclosures and engagement. She helps clients disclose relevant and decision-useful ESG information in line with internationally recognized frameworks and standards, including the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), CDP, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
Prior to joining Rivel, she served as manager of ESG & Communications for Kosmos Energy, where she authored the company's first Climate Risk and Resilience Report and led sustainability reporting and engagement. Before that, she worked for Phillips 66 where she helped launch the company's inaugural Sustainability Report.

Steve is Senior Director of Rivel's StoryLign division. He advises global companies of all sectors and market caps on developing and implementing effective, value-added investor communications strategies across a wide range of areas. In addition, Steve provides coaching and training to executives to ensure management teams are optimizing the delivery of impactful messaging and connecting with their audience to maximum effect.
With over 25 years of equity research and investor relations experience, Steve brings extensive, well-rounded expertise to companies seeking to strengthen their messaging and maximize their valuation potential. Steve's vast experience spans across the buy-side and sell-side, investor relations, and consulting. Prior to joining Rivel, he was Vice President of Investor Relations at Synchrony Financial, where he was recognized by Institutional Investor. He also served as a highly ranked, lead sell-side analyst at UBS. In addition, Steve has a strong track record of outperformance on the buy-side as an investment manager, including at BlackRock.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, an MBA from Boston College, and is a CFA charterholder.
Erik works as part of the StoryLign team based in London with a focus on serving international clients. In this role, he helps clients develop key strategic investor communication materials for their investor days, investor decks for conferences and NDRs as well as quarterly earnings materials by working closely with management teams using StoryLign’s well established proprietary framework and methodology.
Erik engages with companies across all market caps and sectors in line with StoryLign’s track record of delivering best in class and bespoke investor communications materials for our clients.
Erik has more than 20 years of financial market experience. Prior to joining Rivel, he worked as a portfolio manager for 7 years at Hudson Bay, Arrowgrass and UBS O’Connor. Before that, he spent 14 years as an equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley where he was part of the team covering European food, household and personal care companies globally.
Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and staying active through long-distance hiking and running.
Erik received his master’s degree in finance and economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
Nadine works closely with IR professionals and management teams, working across various industries, cap sizes and geographies. She draws from her extensive experience in communications to help them better engage with current and prospective investors and improve valuation.
Prior to joining Rivel, Nadine had a career in corporate sponsorship, raising money for National Public Radio, and working with non-profit organizations to aid in the development of their communications strategy. She also worked in the television and film industry, holding various positions at CAA, Warner Bros. and NBC.
Nadine enjoys anything that gets her outside, whether it’s hiking or yoga, or something else. She likes to write and has been published in a local magazine. She has a passion for decorating, art and vintage finds. Right now, she’s inspired by Mid-Century modern.

Matthew Stefan

With a diverse background, Matthew's career journey includes an MBA investor relations internship at Masonite, where he managed projects for their investor day and conducted vital research for presentations. He also worked as a research scientist in human performance, publishing over 25 peer-reviewed research articles and consulting professional athletes.
Outside of work, Matthew is a fitness enthusiast, loves spending time with his dog Olivia, playing fantasy football and watching Green Bay Packers’ games.
Matthew has an MBA from the University of South Florida, an M.S. in exercise and nutrition sciences from the University of Tampa and a B.S. in nutrition from Dominican University. He also holds accreditations such as the Six Sigma Green Belt and Capital IQ Pro Certification.
Scott Storte

Scott is a Research Analyst for TrendLign. They analyze and code survey responses, edit interview transcripts and assist project directors in the finalization of client deliverables. Previously, they held roles as a valuation associate at Andersen, a financial services firm in Manhattan, as well as a corporate accounting intern at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Framingham, MA.
Scott enjoys traveling around the world, reading fashion magazines, taking photographs as a hobby and spending time with family and friends.
They graduated cum laude from Northeastern University with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and minoring in International Affairs.
Andrew oversees studies for the TrendLign business throughout the research lifecycle — supervising the field process, coding data and creating final presentations. He works closely with consultants and the field manager to provide clients with actionable intelligence to support strategic decisions.
Prior to joining Rivel, Andrew worked in academia for several years before joining a market research firm as a researcher and subsequently as a research manager focusing on risk and financial technology solutions.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys evening walks with his wife and dog and outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and playing golf. On fall weekends he can be spotted wearing orange and cheering on his Volunteers.

Dan Strempel

Dan loves nature, the outdoors and sports, including skiing and pickup basketball. He likes to spend as much time as he can with family in the Adirondack Mountains on the Great Sacandaga Lake during the summer months. He’s also a self-taught guitar player and music history buff.

Lou Teeluck

Lou is primarily responsible for drafting and finalizing deliverables for Rivel’s StoryLign clients. Using the StoryLign team’s established and proven process, Lou works with companies across all sectors to help them develop best-in-class investor communications, producing customized presentations that are strategic and actionable.
Prior to joining Rivel, Lou worked at a boutique financial communication firm called MS-IR, helping Israeli tech companies access U.S. capital markets and establish IR programs. There he developed client-specific research reports based on the most appropriate analytics and metrics.
Lou started his career in IR at a financial consultancy firm in Mexico City called Miranda Partners where he drafted earnings reports, conference call scripts, press releases and conducted perception studies.
Outside of work, Lou loves traveling, reading non-fiction, going to concerts and sporting events. He once completed an 11-month trek across Latin America volunteering in 10 countries while learning about sustainable living practices.
Lou received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal where he wrote for the independent school newspaper The Link. Lou holds a Bloomberg Market Concepts certification and is currently preparing to take the CFA exam.
Socheata supports the Field Director and team of Project Directors with managing projects through the fielding/interviewing process. She reviews and analyzes client samples and performs database maintenance. She also aids in the recruitment and onboarding of executive interviewers and performs ongoing quality control of all interviews conducted.
Prior to joining Rivel, she interned at CDP on the supply chain program where she performed data entry and ad hoc analyses in supporting supply chain account managers. Following graduation in 2019, Socheata joined CDP full time as an operations associate for the supply chain program doing database maintenance, developing and delivering analytics to the program’s clients.
She graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in Management from Western Connecticut State University.
Socheata enjoys cooking, watching food shows on YouTube and Netflix, watching anime, and reading webtoons.
Lisa oversees the project lifecycle for the TrendLign business from project kick-off to final reporting, working closely with consultants and the field management team.
Prior to joining Rivel, Lisa worked for Q & A Research as a Senior Project/Account Manager on research projects in various industries, and at Restaurant Insights focusing on restaurant and CPG studies.

Gregory Toye Jr., CFA
Associate Director and Head of Analytics, Governance and Sustainability

Greg works with companies to develop and report sustainable business strategies, as an extension of and integrated into corporate strategy, and to take action on key corporate governance, executive compensation, communications, and shareholder advisory situations. He is a CFA charterholder and an IFRS FSA Credential holder, with demonstrated expertise in identifying, managing, and interpreting the link between material ESG data and financial performance.
Greg is the lead consultant for management teams and ESG Steering Committees for companies in many sectors, including large multinational corporations with significant operational and manufacturing capabilities, and supply chain management considerations.
In his downtime, Greg likes to hike, try new coffee, and cross-country ski.
Prior to joining Rivel, Greg was a research intern at the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance. He earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Delaware's Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics.
Laura brings extensive consulting experience in sustainability strategy, climate risk and ESG assurance to Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability team. In her role as Director, she helps companies align with frameworks and standards such as TCFD, TNFD and SASB, navigate international regulations including CSRD, CSDDD and SFDR, and conduct double materiality assessments.
Before joining Rivel, Laura served as a senior sustainability consultant at KPMG Netherlands, where she specialized in corporate sustainability strategy, with specific knowledge of ESG assurance, climate risk, sustainable supply chains and sustainable finance. Prior to KPMG, Laura worked at Berenschot in the Energy and Sustainability division, gaining expertise in technology road mapping for large stakeholder partnerships, sustainable technologies and the energy transition.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Law, Statistics and Economics (cum laude) from University College Roosevelt in the Netherlands, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Business and Innovation (magna cum laude) from Utrecht University.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, camping and skiing, as well as creative pursuits such as painting and sketching.
Adam provides help desk support for internal software/hardware issues and implements minor website updates. He also works with the chief productivity officer to develop efficiency improvements using Power Automate, VBA, Excel, Salesforce, Wrike and Trello.
Prior to Rivel, Adam worked at a help desk support center providing tech-support and setup services for various devices and systems, while also being responsible for hardware and software troubleshooting, virus removal and network troubleshooting.
There Adam built comprehensive analytical solutions to provide tools for decision-making, developed statistical models that allowed the company to improve its practices and workflow, and created centralized dashboards and supported multiple teams in creating their own data visualizations in different tools.
Adam has further experience discovering and fixing potential security vulnerabilities in the computer systems at multiple of his previous employers.
In his free time, Adam likes hiking, camping and going on adventures. He also enjoys stargazing, photography and meditation. Additionally, Adam has worked with local high schools to mentor students on information security.

Maria Voegle
Senior Designer
With Rivel since 2021
As part of Rivel's creative team, Maria designs investor day presentations for the StoryLign division. She also aids in the conceptualization and design of digital assets for use in client deliverables and marketing.
Maria has spent most of her career in corporate marketing, designing sales collateral and other marketing materials. Prior to joining Rivel, she worked for a luxury real estate agent on Maui, designing brochures, postcards, email marketing campaigns, open house flyers and more.
In her free time, Maria enjoys riding dirt bikes, mountain biking and hiking with her husband. She also loves baking shows such as The Great British Baking Show. A frequent traveler (her husband works in traveling healthcare), she's had the opportunity to live in some of the most beautiful places, such as Maui and Colorado.
She graduated with an AAS in Visual Communications from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.
Jack performs in-depth research to support the advisement of companies on ESG and governance initiatives, disclosures and policies. His work includes analyzing industry sustainability trends and conducting gap analyses relative to industry ESG benchmarks. Jack is a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) FSA credential holder, having been recognized by SASB for expertise in identifying, managing, and interpreting the link between material ESG data and financial performance.
Before joining Rivel, Jack researched sustainability trends in the global agribusiness industry and the potential of ESG frameworks to mitigate company-specific environmental and social impacts. He focused his college studies on economic development and conducted a variety of case studies and research projects on the impacts of global development. Jack supports clients with strategic initiatives that embed sustainability into business resiliency.
Jack enjoys swimming competitively, taking backpacking trips and playing jazz trombone.
He graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Economics and a minor in Philosophy from CUNY Baruch College.
Alyssa Wesley
Design Coordinator
With Rivel since 2022
Alyssa supports the StoryLign design team with operational and administrative support related to project scheduling, organizing and delivery. She collaborates with project directors and messaging teams to submit designs and other collateral materials.
Prior to joining Rivel, Alyssa was a project manager, sales assistant and, most recently, office manager for a private equity firm. She also worked as a freelancer producing campaigns, designs and other assets for business clients.
Alyssa enjoys entertaining loved ones with home cooked meals, collecting table games and getting out to experience live music as least once a month.
Alyssa holds a bachelor’s in product design and manufacturing from Penn State University.
Robin supports the sales and marketing functions at Rivel. She provides support around meetings and meeting preparation, calls, sales database administration and events. She has administrative experience across several industries. Some of the companies she has worked with include one of the top 50 companies on the 2021 Fortune 500 list, a private equity and venture capital services company, and a labor, employment and benefits firm.
Robin graduated from Ohio State University.
She enjoys hiking and photography, and she likes to travel.
